(Halloween 2007)
It's October 1st... Do you know what your kids are going to be for Halloween?
We're still deciding around here I think. Jillie thinks maybe a flight attendant (7th grade- Yes, she still wants to go trick or treating & wear a costume to school). Reagan thinks maybe the pirate girl from Pirates of the Caribbean. Kobe says either Indiana Jones or Obi Wan Kenobi. Jackson... I'm thinking maybe BYU football player (since he recently got a new BYU football jersey!) What about all of the cousins out there?? Any adults dressing up this year?

My kids are still trying to decide on what to be this year. Jake is not sure if he wants to dress up at all. Kyle is thinking of being a disco dancer with big hair, Jared wants to be a Clone from Star Wars, Karly isn't sure and I have no idea yet for Dallin! I highly doubt I will dress up unless I find something fun :)
I have given this great thought and have decided to dress as an Alaska Airlines CSA....how original is that????? I bet I get a lot of candy for being so original!!!!!
Whatever you guys decide to be....have a fun and safe time...wish we could all go Trick or Treating together.
I love their costumes from last year....especially Jillie's, so cute! We are working on costumes...don't quite have it all hammered out yet. Ty wants to be a Clone Trooper but I'm not sure we want to dish out the money for the Helmet he wants! We are still going over other options. Savy - not sure yet, and Brookelyn will inevitably be something we already have, since we have so many costumes and dress ups I can't see a reason for buying or making her a new one. I am tempted to break out the sewing machine and come up with some cool costumes this year....we'll see! We are also planning a Halloween Party with friends after the ward trunk or treat. Should be fun! Hope you all have a great and safe Halloween!!!
So Jake has decided to be an Olympic athlete, Jared a karate kid, Karly is still deciding, Dallin is going to be Alvin from the chipmunks and Kyle a disco dancer :)
We're starting to narrow it down. Jillie found a bumble bee costume she likes and Kobe has decided on Obi Wan- from Clone Wars. Reagan still wants to be Elizabeth Swann from Pirates, but having a hard time finding it in her size and under$50!!!!! stupid. Thank goodness Jackson is happy to just wear a jersey he already has. :)
It is crazy how expensive costumes are now! I am glad my kids this year are easier to do :) I found part of Dallin's and Kyle's at goodwill for sooo cheap. And I think Karly will borrow something from Jewel and Jake's will be easy I hope. With Scott not having a job, I need all the cheap costumes I can find!
Well Ty "can't" be a Clone Trooper because he's not allowed to wear a mask....so so convenient! And since we live in a new town and both his Superman and Jack Sparrow costumes still fit, he is going to be a repeat and wear each one to different Halloween events. Great! Savannah wants to be Gabriella from HSM 3 and I need to get her a "T" necklace. Not a difficult costume. And she also wants to be Elizabeth from Pirates for Preschool...also a repeat!!! But hey, we're broke and it still fits!Brookelyn wants to be Gabriella too....but I am trying to convince her that she wants to be Ariel since we have the costume already and I think she'd make a cute Ariel. All of your kids costumes sound great and I can't wait to see pics!!!
Amaya wants to be a pirate and is funny about finding "things" to go with her outfit, like a sword and a treasure map. Jacers can't decide. She has gone from a pirate, a ballerina, an angel to a cheetah girl. I am sure it will change next week too. Hopefully I can talk her into something soon. :) And as for Troyboy, a skunk would be fitting because he is such a little stink! But we are still undecided on him too.
As much as I was looking forward to Halloween this year it's not going to be as much fun with Tim being half way around the world in Kuwait!

His company wants to go for a job out there..the airport. So they thought it would be a good idea to send Tim to help with the proposal...for 2 weeks! I am so not for this little venture but he is pretty excited about it.
Abby I still have the skunk outfit from last year for Dallin- not sure if it would fit but maybe? And I have some cheetah girls clothes if Jaci really wants to be a cheetah girl :)
Kuwait? Seriously?? That's pretty crazy....I'm sure it will be something exciting to talk about when he returns!
I believe we are now ready for Halloween! Amaya is still a pirate. Jaci FINALLY decided to be a Pixie and Troyboy is going to be Curious George and since Tim's Kuwait trip got pushed back he is going to be Ted, the Man in the Yellow Hat!
