Happy Birthday Rog, wish I was busy shopping for your favorite birthday dinner and baking a special cake to celebrate you. Wish I was looking forward to the time you would come home in the evening and find all of our kids and grandbabies gathered around to celebrate you.
I miss and love you so much.

What would he want to eat for his birthday dinner? What kind of cake?
Missing him here in NY as well. Greg told the kids tonight some fun stories about their Grandpa G. :)
(They were shocked that he would not go on the Matterhorn at Disneyland!!) :)
We should all guess what he would have wanted..I am guessing he would have wanted ham and cheese potatoes. Razzleberry pie from Marie Callendars for dessert.

That is right ...there were very few rides he would go on..guess it was good that I loved to do the rides...lol
His dinner would have been ham, cheese potatoes, creamed corn, rolls...but the pie would have been boysenberry...very close Shan...and choc cake...cause the kids wouldn't eat the pie...lol
AND as we would sing to him and give our gifts...his eyes would be blinking very quickly to hold back the tears...just as they did in church while certain hymns were being sung.
