4th of July

Any plans for the 4th of July? How is everyone celebrating? We will have some friends over to play, swim and eat. Then in the evening Reagan will be marching with her Junior Color Guard in our town parade followed by fireworks here in the village.
Really looking forward to the week after that when Grammie G and Jake come out to visit and go to the Palmyra Pageant with us!

Jake is soo excited about that as well! Kyle not so much- he can't wait till it is his turn to come to NY.
No huge plans for the 4th. I have to be at the ward BBQ since I am on the committee but nothing major going on. Maybe a family BBQ and games?? Anyone?

Our family had a great 4th of July....the night before we watched the Logan City Fireworks held at USU's stadium from a great secluded "Garrick Secret Spot" where we could see the whole Valley. So beautiful. We could hear the singing from the Stadium and when the fireworks show began, we turned on the radio and listened to the music that was being played at the stadium. The kids were soooooo thrilled when they started playing Indiana Jones. They had a ton of songs and it seemed to last longer than any fireworks show I can remember. On the 4th, we went to a local parade, barbequed, set up our bouncer, had a water fight, made a Flag icecream cake, sold a puppy, visited with some friends and neighbors, and set off our own fireworks. We ended the night with a scripture and a few patriotic songs...(Savannah picked "Proud to Be an American", she'd heard it during the fireworks show 1 time and loved it) It was a great 4th!
